Frequently asked questions
How do I arrange a mobile physiotherapy home visit?
Simply contact our team by phone or via our online enquiry form. We’ll confirm your eligibility (HCP or NDIS), discuss your goals and book a convenient time within our South Eastern Victoria service region.
Which suburbs do you service for in-home visits?
We cover all South Eastern Victorian suburbs, including – but not limited to -Mount Waverley, Glen Waverley, Dandenong, Knox and surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether you fall within our catchment, please get in touch and we’ll confirm.
Do you accept NDIS and Home Care Package (HCP) funding?
Yes. We provide services to both NDIS and HCP clients. We’ll liaise directly with your plan manager or coordinator to ensure if you’re eligible and that your sessions are funded and reported correctly.
What should I expect during my first private clinic appointment?
Your initial visit will include:
A thorough clinical assessment of posture, movement and pain drivers
Discussion of your medical history and individual goals
Creation of an evidence-based treatment plan, blending manual therapy, exercise prescription and, if required, therapeutic modalities
An introduction to our private-gym equipment for tailored rehabilitation
What is manual therapy?
Manual therapy is a hands -on clinical approach that uses skilled, specific techniques – such as joint mobilisations, soft-tissue releases and mobilisation – to treat musculoskeletal pain, improve range of movement and restore function. These techniques are delivered by a qualified physiotherapist who tailors pressure and direction to your individual needs, ensuring comfort throughout the session.
How long does a typical session run for?
Most sessions run for 45–60 minutes, allowing adequate time for assessment, hands-on treatment and supervised exercise.
What are your fees and payment options?
Fees vary by service type (mobile vs clinic) and session length. We accept:
- Private health insurance (gap fees apply)
- EPC (Medicare) referrals
- NDIS/HCP funding
- Self-funded payments via card, bank transfer or cash
Can I claim private health insurance rebates?
Yes. We’re recognised by all major health funds. You’ll receive an itemised receipt at each visit for easy rebate claims.
Do you offer telehealth or video consultations?
Absolutely. For clients who prefer remote care or have limited mobility, we provide secure video consultations to assess your condition, demonstrate exercises and review your progress. Sessions are priced the same as private in-clinic sessions and can be claimed against private health insurance.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please have ready:
- A list of current medications and any relevant medical reports.
- Details of your NDIS / HCP plan / GP Care Plan referral
- Comfortable attire for movement assessment and exercise
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No – you can self-refer to any of our physiotherapy services without a GP referral, giving you direct and timely access to care.
What are the travel fees for home visits?
If the travel time exceeds 15 minutes from our clinicians, we charge $1 per minute of travel. For NDIS and HCP clients, this is claimable from your funding.
